'Everybody Knows' is Go Xo's new alternative rock release, available everywhere May 7

The idea for this song came in a dream when I was laying on a bench at LAX at 3am trying to sleep between flights. I woke up but wasn’t fully awake when I hit record on my phone and started getting the idea down. You can hear this original voice memo at the start of the song. As I continued to develop the song in the following weeks I continued to lean into that surrealists dreamscape style lyrically and sonically for the verses, then the ‘bring the cup’ chant emerged and then lead me to this Milky Chance kind of sounding vocal chorus projecting in full voice “And I will go it alone...” The song initially had no drums at all but I later decided to bring them in for the second chorus which felt real powerful and exciting!
